Grade 5-6
Children aged 10-11 years
The program for grades 5-6 involves the study of the history and administrative system of Ukraine, special attention is paid to familiarization with various spheres of Ukrainian culture.
The history of Ukraine is studied sequentially according to important stages and notable figures. It is important to systematically repeat the studied material in order to create a chronological sequence of events.
The second component of the program is getting to know Ukraine through consideration of individual regions: notable places, figures, historical events, customs and traditions, etc. Communication remains an important component of all classes, through dialogue, associative games, presentations, students practice and improve spoken language.
Ukrainian culture is a very important factor in the awareness of one's own identity, therefore, in order to interest students in modern Ukrainian music, literature, art, cinema, etc., the project "Guest in class" is being held for students of grades 5-6 and 7-8. In the framework of which Ukrainian writers, artists, singers, etc. come to the children at online meetings and talk about their work and answer the students' questions.
The goal of this project is to popularize Ukrainian culture among high school students of the Ukrainian school. In the 5th-6th grade, students start keeping diaries, where they record their impressions of the books they read in Ukrainian school and the music they listen to, thereby building their own system of preferences, which will help them maintain a connection with Ukrainian culture in the future._cc781905-5cde-3194- bb3b-136bad5cf58d_
